The reason why auto seeds are not photosensitive, and their growth is not influenced by the shift of daily light hours due to the change of seasons, depends on their genetic origins.

One or more varieties of feminized seeds are combined with the cannabis Ruderalis genetics. In nature, the latter is a cannabis plant that can grow and blooming in Siberia, even spontaneously. This region features a sure enough inhospitable climate with limited summers and low temperatures during the rest of the year: this lead Ruderalis genetic to develop a marked adaptability. The plant can resist the cold and grow with a short light period. In addition, the speed of maturation and blooming of the plant is impressive, even if the dimension it reaches are quite limited.

Many of the main characteristics and the success of the plants growing from an auto seed come from the bequest from the above-mentioned genetics; blooming is very quick: from the sowing to the flowers in max. 10 weeks; in the blooming phase the daily 12 hours light cycle is not necessary, unlike for the other types of plants and, in addition, the harvest is possible during the whole year, since growth of flowers do not depend on the seasons.
